Touch for Health (TFH) – The body is composed of many pathways from the Nervous and Circulatory systems to energy centers that compose hubs for energy, and message exchange. In touch for Health we are changing the blockages of the body, correcting the energy flow so that the body can heal itself.
Pressure Point Release– Using pressure on points of the meridians, finding the insertions and exit points of muscles to release the muscle, meridian, energy and open the circulation, can involve short term pain, but release is beneficial as it releases the pain. Essential oils accentuate the he healing and relaxation. Emotional issues sometimes come forward as the person releases the pain.
Touch for Health (TFH) is the most widely used system of kinesiology in the world. Millions of people have experienced and benefited from TFH. It is recognised and respected as a healing modality. It is a key source for the emergence of Energy Medicine, Brain Gym, Energy Kinesiology, and even Energy Psychology. TFH Kinesiology trained people have knowledge of muscles, physiology, meridians, etc. In TFH we use muscle testing as a method of biofeedback to identify imbalances in the body’s energy system. Using a holistic approach, we rebalance the body’s energies and activate the body’s intrinsic healing process so that the body can better heal itself.
The benefits of the TFH process can assist individuals with movement of muscles that are sore, not moving, stress, relieve pain, help with pinched nerves, blood pressure, nervousness, emotionally achieve their life goals, as well as goal specifics. In its holistic focus, TFH combines ESR with the Chinese Five Element Emotions and Goal-setting with Affirmations.
Two of the intervention techniques used in TFH, the Neurovascular and Neurolymphatic are thought to focus on relieving stress at the cellular level. Stimulating Neurovascular Points are theorized to increase blood flow at the micro capillary level for regions of cells associated with the functioning of specific organs and their related muscles with a result that they relieve stress within the system.
Stimulating the Neurolymphatic Points are theorized to increase the functioning of the Lymphatic System which removes waste and toxins from the cells and thereby relieving stress within the system.
Dr. John Thie and Mat Thie evolved and expanded the TFH model with the use of the 5 Element Metaphors as a powerful balancing method. These techniques are used to relieve stress in the body and soul by focusing on goals and then interpreting and correcting energy imbalances using creative verbalization that connects the goal to the metaphor of a meridian, element or muscle. This holistic technique involves mind-body-emotions and soul for producing profound results.
The Touch for Health (TFH) model is a synthesis of a variety of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices, theories and concepts coupled with the modern discovery of ‘Muscle Testing / Muscle Monitoring / Energy Monitoring / Stress Monitoring’ which is used as a bio-feedback tool. Other similar disciplines such as Acupuncture, Acupressure, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Yoga, Reiki and Shiatsu are all built upon the existence of an energetic meridian system in the body and the belief that good health is achieved through a balance of Yin and Yang and free flow of these vital subtle energies.
